We Are All Kind Book Activities Games

Overview

While the pictures and text in this book are geared towards young children at Pre-school or Kindergarten the message is for everyone. The idea that we can all extend a hand to help someone else, make amends for the wrongs we have committed and help someone solve a problem. Basically, it is a list of the simplest acts of love and kindness all of us can be doing every day to make the world a better place.

The activities for this book are generally aimed at very young children except the one focused on ending logging and deforestation which could be completed by slightly older students if this book were tied into a unit on the environment. There are 6 activities for this book and they include a handwriting activity where children match baby animals to their parents, measuring animals using coloured blocks, a poster on ending deforestation, a colour by number to practice numbers up to 10, an activity to match pairs of rhyming words and an activity to practice sharing as an introduction to the idea of division and even numbers.
