Overview

When Wanda Gibson was little, family holidays meant taking three special dresses - one to wash, one to wear and one spare. Growing up at Hope Vale Mission in Far North Queensland, Wanda’s family cherished their yearly trips to the beach, camping among the sandhills, cooking freshly caught fish, and swimming in the sea. Beautifully illustrated with Wanda’s own paintings, Three Dresses warmly captures childhood joy, family togetherness, and the simple pleasures of life.
