Overview
This story is a clever blend of historical fact and fiction about the Tea and Sugar Train which was the sole source of provision for people living along the isolated stretch between Port Augusta and Kalgoorlie. Originally designed to provide necessities to those constructing the Trans-Australia Railway it became the life blood for anyone living in remote communities along it’s route.
The activities for this are a comprehension to learn more about the train, a sifting activity, a look at some of the many things available on the train and sorting those that were regular and irregular items.
